Kate Hudson spoke about her brief romance with Nick Jonas in 2015 on host Andy Cohen’s ‘Watch What Happens Live’ and said that the singer is “an old man in a young man's body.”
During the segment, host Andy Cohen asked Hudson about her relationship with the singer, who is 13 years her junior. Cohen, 56, addressed the “countless rumors” that had circulated for years and asked her: “Looking back now, how would you characterize that relationship? relationship?”
The star laughed after that question and assured that the relationship was a brief “moment” in time.
At the time, several media outlets such as TMZ and Page Six reported that various sources assured that they were indeed dating, although the celebrities never confirmed their romance.
What Has Nick Jonas Said About Kate Hudson?
Although their romance was brief, the Jonas Brothers member had nothing but praise for the actress and singer during a January 2016 interview with Complex.
“Kate is amazing. “We had a wonderful connection as two human beings who just admired things about each other and saw something beautiful in each other,” he told the outlet.
However, he declined to share specific details about their relationship “as part of [his] best effort to respect her and her privacy.”
“I’m not going to say whether we had sex or not, but we did have a beautiful connection,” he added. “Even now, I have so much admiration and respect for her. It's amazing.”
After his brief relationship with the ‘How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days‘ actress, Jonas dated a number of celebrities including Lily Collins and Georgia Fowler, all before settling into a relationship with actress Priyanka Chopra, 42.
During an episode of the “Call Her Daddy” podcast in May, Hudson revealed that, on the recommendation of his therapist, he took some time away from dating and getting involved with men.
He confessed that, at first, he didn't find it funny, but over time he realized that he didn't have the same attachment to the attention she was receiving from the male population.
It also taught her what she needed in a partner after years of attracting “wild” men.
After a year-long hiatus, Hudson finally met her current fiancé, Danny Fujikawa, 38.
“If I hadn’t done that, I would have never ended up with Danny, because Danny is such a good man and I’m not so sure I would have been attracted to a good man back then,” she said with a laugh at the time.
