Miami Heat player Jimmy Butler played basketball with fans on a public court in Quito on Sunday , where he arrived unexpectedly and without many realizing that it was the figure of the NBA.

Butler shared his images in action on one of the basketball courts in Quito's La Carolina park on his social networks, which are especially crowded on Sundays with a multitude of fans who practice this sport.

The 2.01-meter-tall American shooting guard took advantage of the sunny morning that the Ecuadorian capital had this Sunday to show off even with a mate.

The NBA, Olympic champion with the United States in Rio de Janeiro 2016, arrived in Ecuador this Sunday after spending several days in Colombia to tour the coffee region while wearing the Envigado shirt, the result of his friendship with James Rodríguez.

The striking player also changed his hairstyle these days for long braids, being one of the most striking changes during the NBA offseason. The Miami Heat guard has become one of the best players in his position.

“First Sunday that I decide to stay home: There is a Tour of Italy in Quito and on top of that one of the cracks, Jimmy Butler of the Miami Heats has been playing in La Carolina as if he had never reached the NBA professional without any fame, re calm and happy. UNUSUAL”, wrote a user on social networks surprised by what happened to Butler.

The player then uploaded a video to social networks before boarding a plane where he shouted and expressed that he liked the city and the country and that he will be back.
