Florence Pugh is hit in the face with a thrown object at an event for the movie “Dune: Part 2”

A person who attended an event in Brazil promoting the movie “Dune: Part 2” threw an object that hit actress Florence Pugh in the eye; everything was recorded on video
One of the most anticipated films for next year is the second part of “Dune”, directed by Denis Villeneuve. On Sunday a conference was held in Brazil to promote it, but unfortunately at the event there was an awkward moment, as a person threw an object that hit the actress in the eye Florence Pugh.
In the video shared on social networks you can see part of the cast of “Dune: Part 2” (Timothee Chalamet, Austin Butler, Zendaya, Pugh and director Villeneuve) posing for photographers at the Comic With Experience (CCXP) from Brazil, when suddenly the projectile hits the actress's face. She complains and her colleagues immediately come to help her.

That person's action was condemned by fans of the artists and the convention itself. One of them (addressing Florence) wrote: “Please don't hate us for what happened today at CCXP. It was an unacceptable and uncomfortable situation and we are very sorry. Please forgive us, Brazil really loves you and we want the best for you, I am so sorry this happened. Brazil loves you”. So far nothing is known about Florence Pugh's situation after the coup, but in her Instagram stories the actress shared a short video with the best moments of the conference.
In the summer of this year several artists (mostly singers) were involved in incidents in which the public threw objects onto the stage, putting their physical integrity at risk. Harry Styles (coincidentally Florence's co-star in the film “Don’t Worry Darling”) was hit in the eye during her concert in Vienna; followed by Bebe Rexha, who had to interrupt a show when she was thrown a cell phone that hit his face. Drake ran with the same luck during a presentation in Chicago.
As for “Dune: Part 2”, more promotional posters with main characters from the film were released over the weekend, including Feyd -Rautha (played by Butler), Rabban (Dave Bautista), Lady Margot (Léa Seydoux), the Baron (Stellan Skarsgard), Emperor Shaddam IV (Christopher Walken) and Princess Irulan (Pugh). The film will be released in the United States Joined March 1, 2024.
