A man disguised as a woman is arrested in the Mexico City

The hustle and bustle in the Mexico City subway was interrupted by an unusual event, where policemen arrested a man who disguised himself as a woman to get on the carriage intended for women and take advantage of it to harass women passenger.

It should be mentioned that, due to the high rate of complaints of sexual harassment, in the CDMX Metro there are two exclusive carriages for women, this with the aim of avoiding such a situation and being able to feel safer when traveling on this public transport.

However, this man had the idea of ​​disguising himself as a woman to go unnoticed and commit his misdeeds, but he was discovered by a young woman, who pointed out that he had been masturbating in the middle of the wagon.

In social networks, you can see a man of medium height dressed in a sweatshirt, black shorts, white socks and women's tennis shoes, who is detained by elements of the Auxiliary Police of the Secretariat for Citizen Security (SSC).

Likewise, a woman is heard denouncing that he was in disguise and “he was grabbing the women's buttocks”.

The man was handcuffed and taken to the Public Prosecutor's Office, where a woman also went who directly pointed out that he was her attacker.

In Mexico City, harassment on public transportation is a sexual offense punishable by a penalty of 1 to 6 years in prison and fines that can be equivalent to between 250 and 600 dollars.

According to a survey carried out by UN Women, in 2019, 96% of women in Mexico City were victims of what least once of an act of violence on public transport, from assaults ranging from verbal acts to forced physical contact or persecution.
