Searching for Suspect Who Stabbed Three Women in the Legs on New York Subway

The New York Police Department reported Monday that they are searching for a man suspected of stabbing three women in the legs on the city's subway system on Sunday afternoon.
At approximately 4:14 pm, police received reports of a power outage that took place at the 86th Street-Lexington Avenue subway station, police said.
A 19-year-old woman got off a southbound 4 train and was walking up the platform stairs when a suspect severed her right leg, according to a press release issued by authorities.
The suspect then attacked a 48-year-old woman at the same station, slashing her right leg as she stood on the subway platform, police said.
The suspect fled on a downtown 4 train and both victims were transported and treated at a local hospital for their injuries.
A few minutes later, around 4: At 32 p.m., a 28-year-old woman who was sitting on a southbound 4 train heading to the Brooklyn Bridge-City Hall station was cut in her left leg, according to authorities.
The suspect fled the scene again, while the victim was transported to a local hospital for her injuries, which police described as a “severe laceration”.

The suspect was last seen wearing a white shirt, blue pants, black sneakers and a black baseball cap.
Last week, authorities reported that a man has been arrested on one count of involuntary manslaughter in connection with the fatal stabbing of a New York City subway rider who harassed multiple riders.
The altercation occurred shortly after 8 p.m. Tuesday, June 23, on a northbound J train as it approached Marcy Avenue and Broadway, the New York City Police Department said.
The victim, identified as Devictor Ouedraogo, 36, of Brooklyn, was taken to NewYork-Presbyterian Brooklyn Methodist Hospital with a stab wound to the chest and was pronounced dead shortly thereafter.
Ouedraogo had allegedly been harassing people on the train while acting belligerent and erratic, according to police sources consulted by NBC New York.
