The son of former Sky Sports pundit Matt Le Tissier has leaped to the defence of his wife after she opened up about joining OnlyFans and Babestation to feed their kids

The son of football legend Matt Le Tissier has defended his wife after she was criticised by trolls for becoming an adult star.

Alex Le Tissier joined OnlyFans after the Covid-19 pandemic left her considering food banks to feed her four kids.

And her husband has now jumped to her defence after keyboard warriors fired shots online.

Mitch, 30, wrote on social media: “My official statement. I do laugh seeing these tweets like no way is he alright with her doing that… etc.

“Listen, we all got bits guys. If you think about it, like really think about it, nothing any of us do really matters in the grand scheme of things!

"So you might as well just do the best you can to have a good time while you’re here!

"We could struggle through life but why should we, when we don’t have to?

"It’s just her job, that’s it…"

But as we revealed earlier this week, it’s not just people online who have taken swipes at Alex.

That’s because in an exclusive interview with Daily Star, she claimed her father-in-law, Southampton icon Matt Le Tissier, labelled her a “bad mum” and asked her to drop her surname.

She claimed this happened after Le Tissier was shown an X-rated photo from her OnlyFans account.

Speaking about the reaction of Mitch’s parents, she said: “At first they would make comments and digs through my husband. They said I am a bad mum for doing this and they made fun of my body.

“Unfortunately the adult industry isn’t something that a lot of people want to be associated with.

“One of the things that annoyed me most is… you can't go on social media and say things like ‘everybody should have control of their own body in regards to the vaccine’. But you are not going to allow me to have choices over my body when it comes to OnlyFans or Babestation?”

And Alex – who made £3,000 during her first month on OnlyFans – added: “I was most disappointed with his family’s reaction. They were not very nice about it. They asked me not to use my name and for a while I didn’t.

“At the time it was really hurtful. Prior to being married I kind of had built up my own – I don’t want to say fanbase – but my own little following on Instagram.

“I don’t have millions but I had 25,000 followers and that was all from blogging and I used to do influencer things around Southampton and that was before I got married.

“So I felt like I had built up my little platform without the name.

“Unless you knew us both already nobody knew I was dating Matt Le Tissier’s son because I’m just not that person.

“It was hurtful that a narrative was spun that I was using the name to gain clout and the money.”

But since sharing her story and speaking with Olivia Attwood on her Getting Filthy Rich ITV documentary, her OnlyFans subscriptions have rocketed.

And the grateful brunette beauty tweeted: “I have made more money on my OnlyFans this week than I’ve done in a whole entire month since December 2021.

“I am crying. You guys are the best. Thank you so much.”

And she also spoke to Daily Star about what Mitch really thinks about her saucy career.

Clearing up any misconceptions, she said: “To be honest it was something we just had to do financially.

“There were a lot of conversations and he is a really open minded person. He’s not close minded in that sense.

“He’s not insecure about our relationship and he was happy for me to do it.

"We knew there would be backlash so he was worried on that part – but when it came to people seeing his wife naked he really doesn’t mind."
