A mechanical game collapsed in India leaving several injured, including several minors and women. Miraculously, no human losses were reported.

Fun at the Mohali, Punjab amusement park turned into tragedy when the “Spinning Swing” ride abruptly fell into the Dashera Ground park , in Mohali, Punjab state, India.

The screams of adrenaline and excitement changed to terror when the security of a game failed about 80 feet high, causing the platform with its crew to collapse, leaving at least 16 people injured. Everything was recorded in a shocking video.

The witnesses to the event, who in general are also relatives or acquaintances of those who get on this type of game, added to the curious of the moment, captured the moment when the spinning wheel crashed to the ground.

The moment, shared on social networks, quickly became a trend, where images and sound describe the tragedy, in which miraculously no one died.

The images show how the device began its journey in a normal way until halfway through the distance, the circular platform where the passengers sit began to move irregularly, even tilting, until it suddenly collapsed.

Immediately a cloud of dust invaded the place, while the cries of pain and witnesses accompanied the terrible event.

According to local media, it is not the first time that accidents of this type have occurred in the Asian giant. In 2019, two people died and at least 29 others were injured when a ride broke at an amusement park in Ahmedabad, Gujarat.

Local authorities reported that they have launched an investigation to determine what caused the accident, as well as the status of the injured.
