The retirement of Jaime Jarrin
On September 28, 2021, the legendary Jaime Jarrin announced that he would retire after season 2022 , which represents his 64th season with the team. Jarrin's journey
Jaime Jarrin began broadcasting the Dodgers games from his native Ecuador at the age of 16, later he came to the United States in 1955 and it is said that he began to regularly attend the games of the Pacific Coast League, there he was a regular. a visitor to the extinct Gilmore Field and Wrigley Field in Los Angeles from 1955 to 1957, that's how he learned the game until he became what he is today.
The legendary Ecuadorian broadcaster has broadcast 22 no-hitters, including perfect games by Sandy Koufax in 1965, Tom Browning in 1988 and Dennis Martinez in 1991. He has also been a part of 30 World Series games and 30 All Stars Games.
