The boxer made his professional debut in South Africa in 2014 and was a national champion, spearheading his career. On the day of the fight against Ball, he required medical assistance and had to leave the venue on a stretcher and with oxygen.
Nick Ball hopes that his rival will get better and gave statements about it for a British media . “The main thing is the health of Lamati. I hope he's okay, I'll be even happier when I know that, because boxing is not a joke. There are some people who don't take it seriously and you can lose your life here, so the main thing is his health,” he said.
Lumati had an undefeated record with 21 victories, including 11 by way of chloroform and only one draw, now after this dramatic event he adds his first setback. It remains to wait for the recovery of the boxer's health and for everything to end well after this unfortunate event.
