Chloe Grace Moretz says she's ready if a third film in the Kick-Ass saga comes out
Time to Read: 1 minuteIn a recent interview, actress Chloe Grace Moretz was asked if she would participate in a third film in the Kick-Ass saga, to which she replied that she would do so without any problem, if the stars align.
In 2010 Chloe Grace Moretz had a co-starring role in the superhero movie “Kick-Ass” , and although she already had more than ten films in her career at the time, the character of Hit-Girl made her known to millions of viewers. Now she was ready to participate in a third film in that saga, as long as director Matthew Vaughn took over the project.
In a recent interview with Yahoo Entertainment , Chloe commented on why plans for a third film about the superhero played by Aaron Taylor-Johnson fell apart after Vaughn did not direct the second part in 2013: “I think we were all really excited about it. with Matt Vaughn coming back, and I think that's what we were all looking for as a cast. So I think if the stars align, there's a chance for a third movie.”
The actress (who currently promotes the Amazon Prime Video series “The Peripheral” ) also compared the formula of “ Kick-Ass” -which combines characters from comics, action and violence for adults- with that used in the saga of “ Deadpool” . “It's interesting to see the character of Deadpool and that whole world, because I feel like it's very similar to the world of Hit-Girl in the sense that I could see that kind of trajectory for a 'Kick-Ass 3', if there was one, and how much fun it would be if we could integrate it. But I think it 's up to Matthew Vaughn, and whether or not he wants to get into it , and whether he was the right set of minds behind it all.”
