Katy Perry announces her intention to record a new album and go on tour

Being interviewed by actress Drew Barrymore, singer Katy Perry announced that she will start working on a new album very soon; she intends to do so after she finishes her concert residency in Las Vegas in March 2023.
Katy Perry confirmed that she will start working very soon on a new record job. The release of this album -the Californian artist's first in two years- will be accompanied by a concert tour that will take her around the world once again, this time with her little daughter Daisy Dove, the fruit of their solid relationship with Orlando Bloom .
The singer explained her plans in conversation with her good friend Drew Barrymore . “I'll probably write and record a new album soon, and I'll go on tour afterwards, which is going to be great ,” Katy admitted in her interview with the famed actress, who couldn't hide her excitement at the news.
Earlier this summer, Katy revealed that in her upcoming concerts she would try to maintain a balance between her past hits and seemingly minor themes that have worked so well during her current concert residency in Las Vegas, which will end in March. 2023.
“I have enough songs to put on a big show, which everyone between the ages of 8 and 80 can enjoy. Those songs have taken me all over the world, and I'm on three world tours now. And I need to get back on the road, because the world is constantly changing and there are new fans every day,” Perry said a few months ago.
