The 52-year-old actress confessed that she has only had Botox and that she recently went in for a general evaluation for a facelift.

Recently, Shannen Doherty opened up and shared her experience, both good and bad, with cosmetic procedures.

This week on In her podcast Let's Be Clear, the 52-year-old actress spoke with her friend, model Anne Marie Kortright, about the cosmetic procedures they have undergone.

In the conversation, Kortright said that she had never undergone any cosmetic procedures, while Doherty confessed that she has only had botox.

“I have had botox, I have done it a couple of times. times. I think the last time I did it was about six months ago,” said the actress known for Beverly Hills, 90210.

About her experience with botox, Doherty said That at first she felt strange. “My husband looked at me and said, 'What did you do to your face?'… My nose didn't even move, it was terrible,” she recalled.

Likewise, the actress shared that she recently went to the office of Dr. Jason Diamond, a cosmetic surgeon, for a "general evaluation" and received a surprise.

“I wanted them to tell me I didn't need a facelift,” she said. "I walked in and said, 'Oh, I'm here for a facelift consultation,' and what I wanted to hear was, 'You don't need one.' But instead what I heard was: 'Oh, You are a great candidate.' And I said: 'No! Not yet,'” she said.

Doherty said that the idea of ??undergoing surgery on her face terrifies her. “It really scares me,” she said. “I don't want to look like a different person, that's what really scares me,” she clarified.

In 2021, the actress, who currently battle against cancer, shared a post on her social networks, in which she celebrated aging. “I was watching movies tonight and I noticed that there were few female characters that I could identify with. You know, women without fillers, without botox, without a facelift. Women who embraced their faces and all the experience they showed," the actress wrote at that time.

"I have lived. I love having lived and that my face reflects my life. I survived a lot, yes, cancer, but more than that. Now I embrace myself (...) I want to see women like me," he added in the publication.
