Researchers at the University of Wisconsin are hiring a group of criminal testers to test dairy products weekly in order to develop a study for the US dairy industry.

The Dairy Research Center at the University of Wisconsin-Madison reported this week that it is hiring a descriptive sensory penalist, who can taste some dairy products and describe the flavors.

The university explained that the opening is to join “a group of expert tasters,” he said. The contracted person must describe “based on the attributes of appearance, texture, flavor and aroma” in order to provide the necessary information for the development of an investigation of the different products.

The job requires panelists to taste a total of 12 pizzas and 24 cheese samples per week in addition to other dairy products, they will also have to join discussion groups and panels to exchange ideas and sensory experiences, as well as participate in the training.

According to the Research Center, the panelists must have previous experience for the application, be willing to be in the three sessions and debates weeks that last approximately three hours, for which they will be paid $15 dollars an hour.

This study is intended to “support Wisconsin and the American dairy industry,” the Center said, so people who want to participate can get all the information through their web page.
