2022 MTV VMAs Nominees List

On Sunday, August 28, the delivery of the MTV Video Music Awards will take place , whose venue this year will be the Prudential Center in Newark, New Jersey. Rapper Lil Nas X has seven nominations for the video for his song “Industry baby” (a collaboration with Jack Harlow ). Both Doja Cat and Harry Styles are up for six awards, while artists like Billie Eilish , Dua Lipa , Taylor Swift , Ed Sheeran and The Weeknd stand out in different categories.

Reggaeton singer Bad Bunny is the first Latino to compete in the Best Artist category, going up against stars like Drake , Lizzo and Jack Harlow . The Puerto Rican is also in the shortlist for Best Latin Artist Video , along with Anitta , Becky G and KAROL G , Daddy Yankee , Farruko , J Balvin & Skrillex .
