The ephemeral participation of the Mexican influencer Dania Méndez in the reality show ‘Big Brother Brasil’ left a whole controversy in the South American country. The Civil Police of Rio de Janeiro is investigating the alleged sexual harassment against the Mexican woman that led to the elimination of the two accused participants.
Rapper MC Guimé and martial arts fighter Antonio Carlos Junior ‘Cara de Sapato’ they will have to testify before the authorities after what happened in the show in which they behaved inappropriately with Dania.
Delegate Viviane Costa told CNN that a letter was sent to TV Globo, the station that broadcasts ‘Big Brother Brasil,’ requesting full, uncut recordings of everything the cameras captured during the party last Wednesday, the day the events occurred.
“Local agents will analyze the recordings to understand the context of the alleged criminal practices of the two investigated (…) After analyzing the images and testimonies, the delegate will decide the steps to follow reported to CNN.”
For her part, the president of OAB Mulher RJ, the highest representative entity of Brazilian lawyers, Flávia Pinto Ribeiro, told the same channel that the actions carried out by the two artists against the influencer “are attitudes clear and clear evidence of the crime of sexual harassment” and she stressed that Dania would not be required to testify.
“The pictures speak for themselves. The change in law is important because before it was a private action in which it was up to the victim to file a complaint. And today the importunation is a crime of unconditional public criminal action, that is, the Public Ministry is the holder of that action. The victim does not need to be heard”, explained Pinto Ribeiro.

A video has circulated through social networks in which it is seen when the rapper MC Guime touches Dania's hip, and she immediately reacts by removing the artist's hand to prevent it from reaching another part of her body.

Regarding the case, the Mexican woman broke her silence upon returning to the reality show ‘La Casa of the Famous’. Both in the Sunday broadcast and in conversation with her housemates, she spoke about her three days of her in the Brazilian reality show.
“For me it was something very strong and unexpected, but the laws there are respected and the way they take care of women is appreciated, for me it was something complicated because something that was fun turned into an unexpected moment,” she declared.
