The team will work on the Tiangong space station currently under construction. Shenzhou-14 will be launched from the Jiuquan Satellite Launch Center in the northwestern province of Gansu.

China has intensified the exercise to prepare its space station. Under this, he will send his three astronauts on the mission on Sunday. It is being told that this mission will last for about six months. The China Manned Space Agency (CMSA) announced this on Saturday.

Astronauts Chen Dong, Liu Yang and Cai Juzhe were sent into space via the Shenzhou-14 spacecraft. This team will complete the construction work of China's space station circling the Earth. The Nazhou-14 spacecraft will be launched into space on a Long March-2F rocket on Sunday from the Jiquan Satellite Launch Center in northwest China.

Lin Shiqiang, deputy director of CMAA, told that the space station will be made the National Space Laboratory through the mission. Lin explained that the Shenzhou-14 crew would work closely with the ground team. The team will work with the core module to complete the docking and transposition of the two lab modules. They will enter two lab modules for the first time and help make the environment suitable for living in.

He said that he will open and install more than a dozen scientific experiment cabinets in two modules. This will be the second set of six astronauts that China will send to build its own space station.

Earlier, a three-member Chinese astronaut crew returned to Earth in April after spending a record six months building critical parts of the space station. This team also included a woman astronaut. The station was expected to be ready by this year. According to CMSA, they had completed verification of key technologies for its space station. Once it is ready, China will be the only country to have a space station.
