AC Milan surprises Los Angeles with a giant hot air balloon in Hollywood before its preseason

The AC Milan will be one of the European clubs that will carry out its preseason in the United States and this Tuesday the Italian team surprised the city of Los Angeles with a giant 92-foot (28-meter) hot air balloon that carried his shield and flew over the Hollywood Hills, one of the symbols of the Californian city.
The Champions League semifinalists will land on the West Coast of the United States to kick off a pre-season that will take place between July 21 and August 1 and used this creative way to capture the attention of fans.
On North American soil, the ‘Rossoneri’ will face Real Madrid, FC Barcelona and Juventus in the famous Soccer Champions Tour tournament. After their arrival, they will meet on Sunday, July 23 at the Rose Bowl in Pasadena against Real Madrid. On July 27 they will face Juventus at the Dignity Health Sports Park in Los Angeles, and on August 1 they will play Barcelona at the modern Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas.
AC Milan's visit to the United States also has commercial interests, since those led by Stefano Pioli are one of the most followed clubs in this nation with 43 million fans. They have also established themselves as the strongest Italian soccer brand over the past two years, according to international market research company YouGov.
The match against Real Madrid will serve as the setting for the ‘Rossoneri’ wear the recently released jersey for the first time. The club together with the sponsoring brand PUMA will organize an exclusive event in Los Angeles with the participation of AC Milan players and local celebrities.
At the end of their preseason journey, on July 29, the team will host a meet and greet event with fans at Niky’s Sports in Santa Monica. The Soccer Champions Tour has been a tournament with several editions over the years and which has an eight-game format.
It will start on Saturday, July 22 and end on August 2. The cities that will host matches are: Dallas, Houston, Las Vegas, Los Angeles, Orlando and San Francisco.
