The Mexican driver Sergio 'Checo' Perez of Red Bull, second in the Formula One World Championship, after achieving his sixth victory in the premier class, the second of the season, at the Azerbaijan Grand Prix, explained how he wants to maintain the same line in the next challenge, the Miami GP of the United States.
“I'm already looking forward to Miami, we hope to be able to maintain the streak of Baku and continue to be really competitive,” said 'Checo', born 33 years ago in Guadalajara (Jalisco) and who is second in the World Cup, with 87 points, only six less than the leader, his teammate the Dutchman Max Verstappen.
“I felt very comfortable in the car last weekend and we ran two perfect races; everything fit perfectly . From the start of the season I said that we needed consistent weekends; and Baku was exactly like that”, commented the pilot from Guadalajara.
In addition to this, the Mexican spoke about his physical condition, in which he explained that he felt good, although he explained how the high weather in Florida can affect him, although of course, he revealed that he is prepared for this type of weather condition.
“From a physical point of view, Miami is the most demanding race of the season. That is why I have been working hard, to be prepared for these conditions ”, added the Mexican from Red Bull with a view to the fifth Grand Prix of the World Cup; which will be held in the surroundings of the Hard Rock Stadium, where the Miami Dolphins, an NFL team, play at home.
