People quickly showed their indignation with strong responses to the publication and highlighted that audience and attendance issues in stadiums for women's soccer matches have absolutely nothing to do with the removal of a player due to harassment.

“Is it clear that they take advantage of the misfortune that a player has had to leave the country to show off as a League? Who the fu** cares if a game was 10,000 or 50,000? A player left you due to lack of guarantees”, wrote a fan.

“How dare they write that last paragraph after A PLAYER FROM THEIR LEAGUE left the country due to constant harassment and insecurity to continue playing,” said another fan on Twitter.

What happened to Scarlett Camberos?

A month ago, the player reported having suffered physical violence from her ex-boyfriend Andres Hernandez, whom she also held responsible for an alleged episode of hacking cyber bullying. Since then, Scarlett has stayed out of Mexico and reported no more with the Eagles.

Likewise, Club America explained that they filed the corresponding complaints to help Camberos, but the aggressor identified as Jose Andres “N” only received preventive detention for 36 hours.
