In addition to messages of text, users will also be able to enrich their conversations with a wide selection of emojis. From smiley faces and hearts to fun and expressive emojis, you'll have a wide range of options to convey your feelings and add a touch of fun to your conversations.
It is important to note that BeReal's RealChat is based on the premise of in-app friendship. This means that users will only be able to use this function to send messages to each other who are previously friends within the platform. This measure will guarantee the privacy and security of users, creating a trusted and authentic environment for online interactions.
How does BeReal work?
BeReal offers its users the opportunity to share images of themselves with other users within the application. However, what makes this platform stand out from others like Instagram or Facebook is the requirement to upload a daily photo of the current activity.
This allows followers to get a snapshot of that person's life at that very moment. The most interesting thing is that the images cannot be edited with filters or other editing software, since BeReal does not support that functionality.
It is important to note that once the notification to publish the image is received, you only have 2 minutes to take it. In order to capture the photo in the most natural way possible, the notification can come at any time of the day, so the user cannot prepare in advance to take the selfie.
