A tourist named Mike, 39, from Hong Kong, had a nearly tragic experience when he bungee jumped during his visit to Thailand, from a height of approximately 10 stories, when the rope it broke seconds before it hit the ground, however it survived due to the water.
Video of the terrifying moment went viral after the victim decided to share her harrowing experience. Mike, who only gave his name for privacy reasons, decided to go bungee jumping while on vacation in Pattaya, Thailand, with a friend earlier this year, at Changthai Thappraya Safari and Adventure Park.

The man had jumped from a platform with a height of 30 meters, equivalent to a 10-story building.

“I landed on my left side, so the injuries were more serious (…) It was like someone beat me up,” explained the 39-year-old man, who asked to be called Mike to avoid harassment on social media.
The man disclosed that he had to be hospitalized for three days and the park offered him $23,000, including $1,800 in medical fees, as well as a $500 refund.
Mike's downfall was witnessed by his friends, who were with him at the Changthai Thappraya safari and adventure park in Thailand.
The park's founder, Nithit Intim, confirmed the accident, saying it was the first time this had happened.
Intim said Mike had signed a liability waiver before making the jump. He also sent a photograph with the signed waiver, as well as copies of medical bills in Thailand.
“Our staff explained that if any mishap or accident occurs , our company will compensate medical bills. But the client cannot demand compensation for other types of expenses, ”he said.
