Jackie Siegel, better known as the Queen of Versailles, suffered millionaire losses in her palace, which has been under construction for 18 years, after the damage caused by Ian

Hurricane Ian continues to wreak havoc as it passes through the country, leaving devastation everywhere. There were families who lost everything in a matter of minutes, while others were forced to move away from their homes until the alert and danger passed.

One of the people affected by the storm was the socialite Jackie Siegel , better known as the Queen of Versailles , who shared the nightmare she lived after her home in Orlando, Florida, was destroyed by strong winds and floods .

Her 90,000-square-foot mega-mansion, which had been under construction since 2004, was extensively destroyed by the hurricane, with damage estimated at $10 million .

According to the TMZ portal, which was the medium that revealed the heartbreaking story, the model also planned to complete the works next May, but after this inconvenience, she had to postpone the long-awaited inauguration.

“Construction progress has stalled, several floors of the house are flooded, portions of the ceilings have collapsed, and there is widespread roof damage,” reported the renowned entertainment portal after contacting Siegel.

TMZ also reports that the backyard looks like a huge lake, so pumping has been underway since Thursday to lower the water level.

Fortunately for the Queen of Versailles and her family, everything was just material damage, which can be repaired over time. At the time of the attack there was no one in the house.

How is the 'palace' of the Queen of Versailles?

Last February, she published a video in which she allowed us to witness the luxuries and dimensions of his property, which has various details in gold, with statues of several thousand dollars and a very interesting collection of flamingos.

Jackie Siegel and her husband, David Siegel, plan to turn their mansion into the largest in the entire United States, but for now they will have to settle for rebuilding it and salvaging as much as possible.
