Man in police custody dies after breaking window of hospital with oxygen tank and falling 20 feet

Following the crash, the Santa Clara County District Attorney's Office and the San Jose Police Department's homicide unit are conducting a joint criminal investigation, police said. The internal affairs unit of the San Jose Police Department, the City Attorney's Office and the Office of the Independent Police Auditor are monitoring the case, according to police.
For now, the Police said the Santa Clara County Coroner's Office will release the man's identity after the coroner's report and his family have been notified.
